Whisky dinner

Are you ready to be let in on the best kept secret in Scotch? Join us on Level 32 for one night only in May as we discover the wonderful world of Mortlach Single Malt!

Officially founded in 1823 as the first legal distillery in Dufftown, Mortlach hails from a region that is generally known for its gentler style of whisky and therefore prides itself in bringing bold flavour to Speyside. Famed amongst whisky epicureans the world over for its full, muscular and rich character, each of its robust bottlings are notably created from the very unique 2.81 distillation process – a magnificent feat unto itself and practiced by just two other distilleries in Scotland.

To celebrate this range of liquid gold, Diageo Whisky Ambassador, Colin Dunn, will host an exclusive dinner that will aim to showcase a premium selection of Mortlach Single Malt Scotch alongside a carefully curated four course menu, specially designed to perfectly pair with each of the pours served on the evening. Guests can expect the likes of grilled scallops with crushed minted peas to be partnered with Mortlach 12 year old; as well as crisp suckling pig with asparagus and preserved apricot chutney complementing the coveted Mortlach 25 year old.

Let’s raise a dram to The Beast of Dufftown! Reservations can be made for up to 8 guests, allocated across one of the communal tables in Oblix East. Kindly note that the full menu price will be required as a deposit.
