Join us for an exclusive evening with Emilien Boutillat, Chief Winemaker of the iconic Champagne House Piper-Heidsieck, for a guided food and wine pairing dinner at Oblix, on the 32nd floor of The Shard.

Appointed in 2018 at just 31 years old, Emilien became the youngest Cellar Master in Champagne. A native son of the region, with family roots in the village of Chaumuzy dating back to 1765, he brings both heritage and modern vision to one of Champagne’s most celebrated houses. His philosophy is to create complex wines that are never complicated — defined by elegance, energy, and vibrant fruit.

Throughout the evening, Emilien will personally lead guests through a four-course menu, each dish thoughtfully paired with a Piper-Heidsieck Champagne or wine. The selection will span the House’s classic cuvées, rare and distinctive still white wines uniquely produced by Piper-Heidsieck and will culminate with the expressive and highly anticipated 2018 Vintage Champagne.

Guests can expect engaging insight, expert commentary, and a rare opportunity to experience Piper-Heidsieck through the perspective of the winemaker himself.
