Guided Whisky Tasting Dinner, Hosted by Macallan’s UK Brand Ambassador
Oblix, the iconic dining destination on Level 32 of The Shard, is marking Burns Night with a celebratory menu in partnership with The Macallan, bringing together exceptional Scottish produce, whisky-led flavours and panoramic views across London.
Oblix’s Burns Night tasting menu showcases a refined take on tradition. Guests can begin with starters such as Hand-cut Beef Tartare with Black Truffle & Mature Cheddar Toast, Orkney Scallop with Crispy Black Pudding & Spicy Brown Butter, or Cured Salmon Carpaccio with Yuzu Dressing & Caviar Sour Cream, followed by an amuse-bouche of Kedgeree & Smoked Haddock with Crispy Potato and Mountain Ash Roe.
For mains, highlights include Whisky-Smoked Black Cod with Jalapeño & Lime or Aurox Bone-In Sirloin with Whisky Ash & Beef Fat, thoughtfully paired with The Macallan. The menu features The Macallan Double Cask 15 Years Old and The Macallan Sherry Oak 12 Years Old, allowing guests to explore the whisky maker’s signature balance of richness, spice and oak alongside the dishes.
Hosted by Macallan’s UK Brand Ambassador, the experience begins with a bespoke welcome cocktail crafted using The Macallan Double Cask 12 Years Old, setting the tone for an evening that celebrates Scotland’s culinary and whisky heritage.
To finish, guests can enjoy a Chocolate & Pecan Bar with Caramel & Bourbon Ice Cream, perfectly complemented by a final sip of The Macallan, a fitting tribute to the whisky house’s enduring craftsmanship and legacy.
Our Burns Night dishes will also be available as a special on our A La Carte menu, on Friday 23rd and Saturday 24th January.
